Despite another less-than-normal year, CCBA remains strong and successful.  In 2020 and 2021 we solidified our place as a trusted and valuable grass-roots partner for legislation in Sacramento, even in these trying times.  Indeed, CCBA’s work—that is, your work—drafting quality resolutions, supporting “Leg Week” lobbying meetings, and responding to requests from staffers for support and analysis during the legislative session, has once more demonstrated CCBA’s amazing impact:  Despite significant pragmatic and procedural limits placed on the overall number of bills the legislature was permitted to bring, CCBA still played a key role in at least 10 quality bills that are heading to the governor’s desk—an amazing feat in these covid sessions of limited legislation.

At our Annual Conference next week, it is now time to prepare our next crop of bills.  We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, September 25, 2021, starting at 9am, as we engage in our trademark lively debate and discussion, and as we work through the 55+ resolutions drafted by our delegates this year, and now vetted by our amazing volunteers at ResCom.

We look forward to seeing you all again [virtually] at the CCBA’s Annual Conference.  Please consider sponsoring CCBA’s outstanding work, and this year’s Conference as one of our Medallion Sponsors:
