Please use the position spreadsheet template to submit your delegation’s positions and call ups, specifying limited or full debate, to resolutions@ccba.law

  • If ResCom approves a resolution, it will be placed on the consent calendar unless called up for debate. (Rules of Operation & Procedure, Art. IV, Sec. 16.)
  • If ResCom disapproves a resolution, it should be called up for debate or amended/withdrawn by the proponent. (Rules of Operation & Procedure, Art. IV, Sec. 5, 16-19.)
  • Each delegation chair should complete and email the spreadsheet to resolutions@ccba.law, indicating the delegation’s positions and any call ups for limited or full debate. (Rules of Operation & Procedure, Art. IV, Sec. 4, 5.)

Additionally, authors can call up their own resolutions by emailing resolutions@ccba.law.

  • “A resolution may be called up for debate by the chair or other authorized representative of the delegation of an Association entitled to representation at that meeting of the Conference, five delegates or alternate delegates, the author of the resolution, or other individual delegate as authorized by the Board of Directors. … The deadline for call-up of resolutions in the one and two series is no later than one hour prior to the time scheduled for the Conference to be called to order. All other call-ups must be filed no later than one hour after the Conference is called to order” (Rules of Operation & Procedure, Art. IV, Sec. 5.)

All positions and call ups will be tracked using the Conference Google Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/19V-ET_OKfbYhJCKu0QjgfqW36R3v8jUq1IJgDQKYgQ4
