With great sadness, I regret to inform you of the passing of Michele Anderson on December 29, 2025. Michele was the 2024 Chair of the Conference, an active member of our Board of Directors, the 2025 recipient of LACBA’s “Charlie English Spirit Award,” and a long-standing delegate and supporter of CCBA. She recently taught a class at Southwestern Law School on Legislative Drafting & Process and was a tireless advocate for justice, civic engagement, and advocacy through her work with CCBA and many other organizations. Michele will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate to know her.
