Please join Jack B. Osborn for a one-hour CLE to discuss the landmark 2022 CARE Act (SB 1338) that is considered a paradigm shift in the availability of services for the mentally ill, the unhoused, and those suffering from substance abuse. Designed as a diversion to prevent more restrictive conservatorships or incarceration, Mr. Osborn will review the history of the legislation and ongoing challenges to implementation.

Mr. Osborn is a partner at Brown White & Osborn LLP and a certified specialist in estate planning, trusts and probate. His practice focuses on conservatorships and mental health law. He is a former CCBA Chair, and Past President of the San Bernardino County Bar Association and the Joseph B. Campbell American Inn of Court.
